In other national news, 17 radicalized Auto-Merkins have invaded and secured 17 empty parking spaces in the Myassa State Endangered Invasive Species Flora and Fauna Preserve and refuse to pay the parking meters, of which preserve parking has none. They have used social media like Auto MD and Cars.com to request donations of leaded gasoline and truck nuts. All they have received so far have been stick shift knobs covered with tiny wet noodles.
In a public statement a spokespassenger declared ''Only a good Auto-Merkin with a passenger can stop a bad Auto-Merkin with a passenger.'' Nobody cared.

Thanks, Miroslava. They left four days ago to resume their protest in the Myassa National Old Growth Kudzu Forest, where they apparently parked in one place too long and were entwined by Kudzu. Neither Auto-Merkins nor passengers have been heard from for three days.
