As a culture built upon macho and war, the Klingons were frequent antagonists on Star Trek. They are also the most hated participants at Sci-Fi cons because they are loud, aggressive, obnoxious and speak a language nobody else understands, just like on Star Trek. A lot of the language sounds like hawking and spitting. It is actually one of the best known and most used of all artificial languages with books, including the bible, translated into it. They're actually very funny.
